What is the average length of stay?
Our Short-Term Intensive program is 28-41 days. Our Long-Term Extensive program is 4 months. Each person’s stay depends on his individual needs and progress.
What will my costs be for treatment?
Our programs are among the most affordable in the country. Every need is different, so speaking with an Admissions Specialist is the best way to find the cost and program best suited for your needs.
What are the major differences between the short-term and long-term program?
The short-term program is a more intensive one-on-one and smaller group setting in which the resident strictly focuses on the process of finding recovery and sustaining sobriety. The long-term program includes a vocational element in which the resident is required to obtain a job during their stay. After the 8th day of the resident’s stay, we will assist them with résumé building, job search, and applications. Transportation is also provided to/from jobs.
Are there medical professionals on site?
Oaks Recovery Center is NOT a medical facility and there are no medical staff on property. We partner with a health care provider that is available to address any medical needs. If residents require immediate medical attention, we will provide transportation to the proper medical facility.
When can I use the phone?
Personal cell phones are not allowed. Each resident is allowed a 10 minute personal phone call daily. If an emergency occurs, the staff on duty will always allow a resident to use the phone.
What should I pack?
See our What to Bring list. If you cannot bring all items, please discuss options with a staff member.
When are visiting hours?
Saturday and Sunday, 11am-7pm. All visits must be pre-authorized by the men’s director.
